SPECIAL MEETING of the INTERIM PACIFICA
NATIONAL BOARD
Nov. 22, 23 and 24, 2002

There will be a special meeting of the Interim Pacifica
National Board to continue our discussion of new bylaws. Here
are the details of the meeting:
DATES:
Friday, Nov. 22 - 6 to 9:30 pm
Saturday, Nov. 23 - 9 am to 6 pm
Sunday, Nov. 24 - 9 am to 3 pm

Rooms at the Holiday Inn will cost $59 a night (plus tax).
When you make your reservations, be sure to tell them you
are coming for the Pacifica Board meeting.
Arrangements are being made for breakfast and lunch (Saturday
and Sunday) at a reduced rate for everyone. We need to know
if you will want veggie or chicken meals for the lunches.
It will help us tremendously if you let us know if you are
planning to come to this meeting. If so, please send an email
as soon as possible, and no later than Nov. 13th to Teresa
Allen at teresaallen@pacifica.org
and be sure to tell her what kind of meals you would like.

There is a very real need for the members of the Interim
Board to have as much time as possible to discuss the draft
bylaws. We are still working out the exact agenda of the meeting,
but everyone should know that there will only be limited time
available for public comment.
Plans are being made for webcasts of the entire session
and we are in discussions with each of the Pacifica station
managers about whether or not they will do a full broadcast
of the meeting. As soon as all of these plans are in place
we will send out another public notice.
Finally, if you are planning on coming to Houston please
make your travel plans right away and please make your reservation
at the hotel very soon and be sure to email Teresa.
