Pacifica Radio To Cover The January 18th
Rally In Washington DC!

Live coverage of the January 18th anti-war rally will be
available on the KU/Left Channel at 11:00am eastern time

anchor desk for the INTERNATIONAL
A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition's rally on the Washington, D.C.
Mall, Saturday, January 18, 2003. The Pacifica Radio Network
will be airing five hours of the rally from 11:00am Eastern
Time till 4:00pm eastern time. The program will broadcast
the events from the stage as well as on-set interviews.
The International A.N.S.W.E.R. (Act Now to Stop War and End
Racism) Coalition is building on the momentum of the October
26 anti-war protests, the biggest opposition to conflict since
the Vietnam War. A.N.S.W.E.R. is also sponsoring mass rallies
against the war in San Francisco and other cities worldwide
also on Saturday, January 18. The event is pegged to overlap
the spirit of peace and non-violence embodied in the Martin
Luther King Jr. holiday.
