The Adopt a Friend show is part of a community effort by KPFT listener sponsored radio and the Houston area animal rescue groups. I am Anne and will be your host each day at 5:58 pm for 90 seconds. The Adopt a Friend show will introduce animal friends for adoption that are in need of a loving forever home. Each week we will feature several animals from BARC (Bureau of Animal & Regulatory Care) as well as animal friends from other animal control facilities and animal rescue groups. We hope to spread the word about the wonderful animals already waiting for their forever homes and we hope to get you, the community, involved in helping our companion friends that are a very important part of our lives. How we care for our companion animals is a direct comment on our society and we believe that the Houston metro area wants a change for the better. So listen to the Adopt a Friend show and help us find homes for these great friends. Volunteer help is always appreciated at any of the animal rescue groups. Remember, adopt and discover a friend for life.
