GMUS looks at political struggles and those who are waging them - from Harlem to East Timor, from hip-hop to Andean Pan-Pipes, from marginalized to powerful, Global Movements, Urban Struggles is a weekly magazine hour that connects communities across the US and the world and engages in dialogue critical to their struggles. The War On Immigrants Report: The last Tuesday of each month, GMUS presents a new show hosted and produced by Aarti Shahani & Adem Carrol, longtime producers and contributors to Global Movements, Urban Struggles and WBAI. The program tracks issues pertaining to families and children affected by changes to immigration policy in the US.
