Last week 11 states held primaries. In the Rhode Island Primaries, Republican Lincoln Chaffey defeated challenger Steve Laffey. In New York, Hillary Clinton defeated Jonathan Tasini in the New York Democratic primary; Mitch Jesserich interviews Jonathan Tasini. Also in New York Major Owens is retiring, WBAI's Wake Up Call host Deepa Fernandes interviews Congressman Major Owens. Yvette Clarke, who is likely to replace Owens, says she will uphold the legacy of Shirley Chisholm, who from the same district in Brooklyn, became the first black woman elected to Congress. And in Minnesota Keith Ellison will likely become the first Muslim elected to Congress, after winning the Democratic primary, and will likely become one of few black elected officials to represent predominantly white districts. have some sense aren't people tired of voting on bipartisan disasters.. Clearly Kucinich is the man for the job, a vote for Kucinich is a vote for inmpeachment
