This week on Sprouts, we bring you highlights from the FCC's April 17, 2008 hearing at Stanford University in Palo Alto on Broadband Network Management Practices. This is the FCC's second public hearing that centered around Net Neutrality -- the principle of maintaining an Internet free of restrictions on the modes of communication allowed, and which does not restrict content, sites or platforms. At the hearing, FCC Commissioners and others examine the role major telecom companies are playing when it comes to routing web traffic. This edition of Sprouts was produced by Rose Ketabchi at KPFA in Berkeley, California. Music by Aphex Twin.
