Program Guide Third Congress of the World Coalition against the Death Penalty Meets Third Congress of the World Coalition against the Death Penalty Meets 2007-02-02Audio of entire show: Related Tags: Other segments from this show: A total of 2,148 people were executed for crimes committed in 22 countries in 2005, the overwhelming majority of them were put to death in China, Iran, Saudi Arabia and the United States. These figures were published today in Paris during the Third Congress of the World Coalition against the Death Penalty, a group of 53 non-governmental organizations, bar associations and unions.
