SYNOPSIS:
This special will feature voices from member organization 'Iraq Veterans Against the War'(IVAW). IVAW is a national group of veterans and active duty servicemen and women of the "Global War On Terror". IVAW members are getting to the heart of what it means to be a soldier in an armed forces subjected to the fraud, folly and failure that is the "War on Terror".

The program will address:
a) 'Soldiers in Revolt: Building Today's GI Movement'.
b) PTSD as a collective, societal trauma in addition to the individual. What wholistic and social supports are required to truly help the suffering individual?
c) A report on current activism (e.g, 'The Occupation Project' - a campaign of sustained nonviolent civil disobedience aimed at ending the U.S. war in and occupation of Iraq).

Zinn, Parenti, Ellsberg, the IVAW.. very powerful.. four years later, everyone here brings it all back with history, current context, and personal accounts of the Iraq invasion.. thanks to all the IVAW!!!
