Winona LaDuke [Environmental activist, author, teacher,
political candidate and spokesperson], Laurie Weahkee [Executive
Director, Sage Council], Michael Guerrero - [Southwest Organizing
Project], Richard Moore [co-founder of the Southwest Network
for Environmental and Economic Justice; and Southwest Organizing
Project], and local environmental groups discuss national
issues of environmental racism and problems specific to
New Mexico - which has a workforce largely dependent on
military industry, as well as Uranium mining for weapons
testing which contaminates water on tribal land. Moderated
by KUNM talk show host Arcie Chapa. The program is provided
in one hour and half hour stand alone formats.
