ISSUES COUNTDOWN

11 Live Town Hall Meetings, brought to you on the air, by Pacifica Radio (via satellite and Internet, for our affiliate stations; and via our airwaves and Internet for the public)

Election 2004: Issues Countdown is a series of nationally broadcasted town hall meetings focusing on election issues in major metropolitan areas and swing states, produced cooperatively between Pacifica and affiliated stations throughout the Pacifica & Affiliates Network.

  • Hosted by Pacifica Radio and Pacifica affiliated Community Stations
  • Public debates and discourse between national spokespeople and local grassroots activists focus on local problems of differing communities around the country in national perspective
  • Recordings of the events will be edited for national distribution via Ku satellite and the Internet. The programs will be 58 minutes long, with 29-minute pared down version also available
  • The 10 installment of this series will occur in 29-minute modules, to accommodate 58 minute and 29 minute broadcasts (lower quality audio is also available for individual use, and download)
