Leslie Kean: US threatening to attack Syria, with Israel egging
US on.. now w Scott Davis, author of The Road From Damascus..
more info: CunePress.net.. Scott: Syrians high and low love
American culture, and the American constitution, the Bill
Of Rights.. they appreciate American ideals more than Americans
do.. weird to have Syria the target of all this rhetoric..
the current president came to office July 2000, his acceptance
speech could have been written by Thomas Jefferson.. his wife
a computer scientist.. Syrians want democracy, and open society,
and they want to be 'wired'.. a ferocious feminist is the
Syrian spokesperson.. since last October the US doing a smear
campaign against Syria.. Sharon whispering in Bush's ear..
US accusing Syria of providing 'night vision goggles' to Iraq..
no evidence.. an incredible amount of disinformation.. deliberate
lies to the American people to get them to support certain
policies.. the US not respecting democratic principles.. Syria
points out that the country in the region with weapons of
mass destruction is Israel.. over 100 nuclear weapons, and
chemical and biological weapons too.. how Syrians reacted
to the war.. very calm during the lead-up to the war.. when
the bombs started dropping, and people injured in the marketplace..
Syrians became really upset.. they see the American invasion
as a power play, they expect that.. but they don't want innocent
people getting killed.. about Israel and the US accusing Syria
of being a terrorist state, supporting terrorism.. how do
I know? the CIA said so.. since 1986 Syria hasn't done 'anything
wrong'.. but the US intelligence exploded a car bomb in Beruit
in 1985, a whole street load of people slaughtered.. folks
walking out of mosque.. as reported by Bob Woodward.. the
Muslim cleric what the US was trying to kill with that bomb,
came out after 911 and condemned the act and expressed sympathy
for the victims.. the US greatly exaggerating.. the US does
not want the US people to know, that Syrian support for Hezbollah
is actually preventing terrorist attacks on Israel.. (explains)..
maybe the reason that the US is smearing Syria is to get the
Iraqi oil pipeline moved from Syria to Israel..

days Senate Republicans are trying to make the Patriot Act
(I) permanent.
