photo: bloody street Rumsfeld a surprise visit to Baghdad
today, surrounded by bureaucrats and soldiers.. says the US
came 'not to conquer, not to occupy, but to liberate'.. two
crowd shootings this week alone.. eyewitnesses said there
was no provocation.. except six stones tossed by grammar school
children.. Arabs say US troops bad influence on their people..
in Belgium, a lawsuit promised against Tommy Franks for shooting
at ambulances, and using cluster bombs.. meanwhile in the
UN.. still no weapons of mass destruction.. Bush says it ain't
over yet.

AUDIO LINK Dennis: the information coming from the mainstream
media has been propagangized.. now w Norman Solomon, to discuss
the stories not reaching us, author of Target Iraq, What the
News Didn't Tell You, Target Iraq - book coverand executive
director of the Institute for Public Accuracy.. Norman: about
a quote of mine used in an editorial by the Houston Chronicle..
the craven willingness to go along with the slaughter of innocents..
in the US government.. Dennis: I was upset hearing the reporting
on NPR.. Norman: the credibility is usually given to the US
government although the military has often lied.. like the
shooting of journalists at the Palestine Hotel.. eyewitnesses
said no one fired on the US.. the US shooting people they
are supposed to be liberating.. about the NPR reporting..
about MSNBC's Ashleigh Banfield the other day, saying some
of the gore of the war had been hidden from the US public,
and she was almost immediately reprimanded.. about the biggest
unreported stories.. the use of cluster bombs is a war crime..
Norman: I think Tariq Aziz should go on trial for war crimes,
and so should Powell, and Rumsfeld, Bush and Cheney.. cluster
bombs are a gratuitous gift to the people of Iraq, that keep
on killing.. the US didn't need to drop 1500 cluster bombs
on Iraq.. where is the US media?.. another unreported story,
the lawsuit being filed in Belgium against General Tommy Franks..
and about Maurine Dowd's column in the NY Times today.. Dennis:
another unreported story, who has weapons of mass destruction?..
Norman: Flashpoints has been a very good source of information..
Israel has a least 200 nuclear bombs in its arsenal.. the
US media talks a lot about WMDs, and ignores Israel's terroristic
brandishing of these weapons at its neighbors.. when Dennis
Kucinich said that oil has a huge factor in the war on Iraq,
a media war was launched on him.. yet now, Iraq being annexed
by US oil company officials serving in government.. and about
the security apparatus being chosen by the US, tapping Saddam's
old people.. and what did the US choose to protect from looting,
the Oil Ministry and the Interior Ministry, not the hospitals,
or the museums.. Norman: what you can do: visit FAIR.org and
Accuracy.org and raise hell with the corporate media..
