The Knight Report: UN bombing in Baghdad kills two. Tight
security at the UN in New York where George Bush will once
again claim he was correct in ordering the Iraqi invasion
and occupation.

Venezuela: Dennis interviews Greg Wilpert, reporter on Venezuela.
The US does not fear Venezuela, it fears the "danger
of the good example". Opposition forces attacked an Army
Barracks just next to the Palace in new attempt to oust Hugo
Chavez. His popularity makes reelection likely, hence increased
attempts on overthrow an on his life. Popular Venezuelan www.headline.com
alleges CIA plots to kill Chavez.

IWFR Kick-Off in San Francisco: Si Se Puede. An Audio Collage
of Speakers at the Start of the Immigrant Workers Freedom
Ride. Clear Channel and Right Wing Hate Radio derides the
IWFR, but this only vindicates this much needed movement for
immigrants, workers and all citizens in these times.
5:43 PM PST
Remembering Jesus Alberto Suarez: Dennis interviews Fernando
Suarez del Solar by phone. He was a soldier, an immigrant
but not a citizen. Big Media cameras focused on Bush's offer
post humously of citizenship, but conveniently turned away
when his father made an impassioned plea against the military.
A military companion to his son, contacted Fernando and related
how his son had died from the negligence of the military.
His son had stepped on a landmine that his officers had not
told him about. Medical attention was delayed by 3 hours resulting
in his bleeding death. Military recruiters go after Hispanics
because of their work ethic and brave reputation. This war
is all about lies. I will continue to talk about these lies
in the Latino community. If Fernando could speak to Bush:
"Mr Bush, you have never been able to demonstrate to
the American people, that this war was about WMD... I want
you to demonstrate to me that the life of my son, the blood
of my son was necessary. The price is too high... Let's bring
our boys home now."
