human rights activist Laura Gordon, a Jewish-American observer
with the International Solidarity Movement who has spent 7
months documenting events and conditions in the southern Gaza
town of Rafah. Laura tallies the devastation, injury and death
from the week-long invasion by Israeli forces, and portrays
the beseiged Palestinians in Rafah as a warm and welcoming
people, in spite of the common knowledge that the tanks and
bulldozers which are demolishing their homes are American-made.
