these detainees. Colonel Bolts has made it clear that we
want these individuals broken"

Victims of Violence - Women in India: Angana
Chatterji, professor in Social and Cultural Anthropology
at the California
Institute of Integral Studies, interviewed by Solange
Echeverria, talks about the case against 5 Indian women accused
in the killing of a suspected serial rapist. The legal framework
which failed to protect women in India now threatens to further
victimize them.
