Today on Flashpoints:
US forces bomb innocent civilians, including women and children
as US officials put the final touches on fixing the Iraq election;
we’ll take a look at the war and what many believe are
sham elections with Flashpoints special correspondent Dahr
Jamail and warfront filmmaker Mark Manning; and we’ll
feature hard-hitting excerpts from two documentaries, one
by Manning, and the other, the award-winning War Photographer
about James Nachtwey; and the Knight Report;

The Knight Report: Iraq's Sunnis are seething over constitutional
referendum results where southern Shias are claiming a 99%
"yes" vote and northern Kurds are claiming a 250%
voter turnout in Mosul. Saddam Hussein prepares for an occupation
tribunal where he is accused of doing in Dujail what US troops
have been doing in Abu Ghraib. NYT war propagandist Judith
Miller gets a First Amendment award from the Society of Professional
Journalists, along with Illinois prosecutor Lisa Madigan,
who won a suit upholding prior restraint of student press.
