The Knight Report: Thirty die in a Baghdad bus bomb attack
which used new tactics to defeat standard security sweeps;
a hostage is killed and several more threatened with demands
for release of political prisoners in Iraq; US troops seal
the Syrian border as Iraq's occupation regime imposes a state
of emergency in a Sunni region; and, a Sunni Council announces
a boycott of next week's militarily occupied elections; there's
a secret plan for reduced US troop deployment in Iraq; and
the Pentagon reacts to diminishing recruitment with an advertising
budget of more than a billion dollars for its Army of One.
