Breaking News: Jordanians Killed - Kevin Pina, Flashpoints
Correspondent on the ground in Haiti describes a deadly attack
on a UN checkpoint apparently by a group including Haitian
police and funded by Group 184, the opponents of the pro-democracy
Lavalas movement. Many fear the attack was planned as a pretext
to foment escalated violent persecution of poverty-stricken
supporters of democratically-elected Haitian President Jean
Bertrand Aristide before national elections.
