Gentrification and Repression in New Orleans
National Guard troops are deployed in New Orleans to remove
public housing residents from over 5,000 units of some of
the most viable housing in the city. Common Ground is providing
youth services and assistance to returning residents that
the government is responsible for but unwilling to deliver.
Join a grass roots resistance. Volunteer, help rebuild, support
the efforts to restore property to residents that city officials
want to confiscate. Demonstrate solidarity by traveling to
New Orleans on July 4. www.commongroundrelief.org
