British MP George Galloway Interviewed on Sky TV
In a spirited discussion rising to a near shouting-match at
times, George Galloway dispels the widespread western misconception
that Hizbullah is not a legitimate political entity with broad
support in Lebanon, and tries to show the interviewer's own
racism to which she is apparently totally blind! Mr. Galloway
goes on to say that there can be no resolution until Israel
withdraws from all occupied territories it holds from the
1967 war, the release of all political prisoners, and the
establishment of a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as
its capital.

company) which aired on 6 August

RFK Human Rights Center Sues US Treasury
The RFK Memorial Center for Human Rights sued the Treasury
Department for withholding documents in a FOIA request filed
three years ago. The request sought documents concerning four
fully approved Interamerica Development Bank infrastructure
loans that were withheld resulting in hundreds of preventable
deaths among Haiti's rural poor and condemning Haiti to remain
the poorest nation in the hemisphere for many years to come.
The IDB loans were for water and sanitation, health clinics,
roads and education. Will the record show that the US interfered
to create a humanitarian crisis in order to destabilize the
country under President Jean Bertrand Aristide? Read
