Wounded Warriors - Native American Veterans with
PTSD (29:00)
Native Americans enlist in the armed forces at a higher
rate than any other ethnic group. Yet, when Native American
veterans return home, they have few resources for dealing
with their injuries. The psychic wounds can be the hardest
of all. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, or PTSD, is a poorly-understood
condition that can wreak silent havoc on returning soldiers,
their families, and their communities. Stay with us as we
explore how Native Americans face the nightmare of PTSD, and
find healing.
