Votes To Allow Bush To Use Force Against Iraq
House lawmakers voted today on a measure granting the president
the authority he’s seeking to wage war against Iraq.
The vote for HJ. 114 was 296 to 133 in favor of authrorizing
the president war powers to attack Iraq with or without the
backing of the UN.
