Bush calls for smallpox vaccinations for the military
The White House announced today that military personnel
and emergency health personnel would receive the smallpox
vaccine. Exposing the general population to the smallpox vaccine
sets up a scenario where millions can inadvertently be infected
with the virus.

Turkey’s Role in the War on Terrorism
In an historic agreement, the European Union announced at
a Summit in Copenhagen today that it will add ten new members.
But Turkey was left off the list, which is likely to drive
it closer to the Bush Administration's position for war on
Iraq.

Iraq Uses U.S. Materials for Nuclear Weapons Development
A senior Iraqi official is quoted in Newsday saying the
12-thousand page document Bagdad handed over to the UN last
weekend contains a list of U.S. companies that sold chemicals.
The materials were reportedly sold during the 1980’s
before the relationship between Washington and Bagdad went
sour.

Joseph Wilson on U.S. Policies Towards Iraq
Joseph Wilson is the last U.S. official to meet with Saddam
Hussein, Iraq’s President. Yesterday at a press briefing
in Washing D.C., sponsored by the Center for International
Policy and Fenton Communication, Wilson gave his perspectives
and opinions on the current administration’s policy
towards Iraq.

Newspaper journalist “Poindexters” Total
Information Awareness Czar, John Poindexter
Journalist investigates what he sees as a new ‘amerika’…that’s
amerika spelled with a ‘k’ and recently found
out what federal information czar john Poindexter is up to
these days. Poindexter, the former Iran Contra conspirator,
had been named head of the new federal division to compile
data on would-be terrorists.

Domestic Weapons Inspections
Jacqueline Cabasso recently led a "citizens weapons
inspection team" to the gates of the U.S. nuclear weapons
laboratory in Livermore, California. The lab is suspected
of secretly working on nuclear weapons and bio terrorism research.
Cabasso’s group wants the U.S. to accept inspections
of its own nuclear weapons facilities under the same conditions
as mandated to Iraq.
