Story: Two Generations of the Peace Movement
As dissent against a war on Iraq increases nationwide, we
travel with two generations of women artists in the peace
movement. Grace Paley just turned 80 years old. She is a poet
and fiction writer. Rha Goddess is a 30 some hip-hop MC. Both
are from NY and both are peace activists.

Story: Discussion with Washington Peace Educator
Rajeev Kasat
The call to help create peace in the world… is a calling
a young teacher in the Washington, D.C. area has been answering
for quite some time. 24-year old Rajeev Kasat, high school
teacher, poet and spiritualist who’s traveled around
the world and into the inner sanctuary of his own mind to
study and manufacture the building blocks for a peaceful world.
Rajeev says ‘no matter where one travels they always
remain in the same place, unless they are willing to change.’
His thoughts are expressed in his new book titled: “Trails”
while his emotions are portrayed through his poetic works.
Tape: Rajeev Kasat’s book: Trails, was awarded the
National Certificate of Merit Writer’s Digest Self Published
Book Award in 2001. He currently teaches at Woodrow Wilson
High School in Washington, DC.
